Summer 2021 – We Can Resist, Teen Vaping Cessation Program

Northern Westchester Hospital is pleased to announce a ground-breaking (free) vaping cessation program targeted to teens in Northern Westchester County. Generously funded by the Thomas and Agnes Carvel Foundation, this program incorporates evidence-informed practices adapted for adolescents. Our objective is to help middle and high school youth (14 – 19 years old) develop the skills necessary to successfully address vaping use and addiction. Some parental education and support training is also included.

This program will hold its inaugural class this summer virtually starting in June. This 6-week, 1- hour class will address the psychological, physical, social, and behavioral components of addiction and teach skills needed for vape-free success. Classes include didactic and interactive components with a small cohort of students.

All classes will be held from 5:00 – 6:00 p.m. over Zoom. Inaugural class will be limited to 8 participants:

  • • June 16th
